A LOVED-UP man donned a wig and pretended to be his girlfriend to sit an exam for her.

Ayan Zhademov, 20, came up with the hair-brained plan when his sweetheart confided that she was not ready for her key UNTs — Kazakhstan’s equivalent of A Levels.

Dressing in a black wig, make-up and his girl’s favourite white blouse and grey skirt, Ayan managed to sneak into the test room.

But eagle-eyed examiners spotted him and pulled the imposter aside for questioning.

An exam board spokesman said: “We suspected it might be another woman that had taken the candidate’s place, but we never suspected it was a man that had taken her place. At least not until he started speaking.

“He tried speaking in a high voice but it was obvious then that he was a male.”Ayan was fined £1,400 — but has since been dubbed the “romantic of the year” in his home town.

A local businessman was so impressed by the gesture, he paid off the fine for Ayan.

Fellow student Dariga Nesterova said: “It was stupid, but very romantic.

“Sometimes love leads us to do silly things, I wish my boyfriend was this romantic.”

Student Goga Korzhova said: “She’s lucky to have someone as brave as this, someone who will risk everything for her.”

Generous businessman Olzhas Hudaibergenov added: “I suspect that his romantic moves in the future will be more legal.”

The girl, who has not been named, was disqualified as a result and will have to sit her exam next year.

Yes, he may have a brave heart because he had put everything on risks such as his career, respect, and abilities for that girl. I am impressed, there are fever persons like him in the whole world. Thank you for inspiring me.
